10:01- I suck at running, so scaled to "C". After finishing ran an another 400m for extra credit. Ha. Should have probably tried "B".
Awesome job 5am'ers!
Jeremy, nice job...the only one at 5am that went rx'd and just a few pullups short of finishing!!!

Scaled to B - those pullups get me every time! Thanks John for taking away the "easy" bands for me - HAHA!
I love getting it done at 5:00 AM - great job everyone!

DNF 16 PUs with 19 left. Adjusting a bit to running in the new 'zeros'....I think I'm going to like them after I iron out the new technique. Glad I went RX'd.....think I could have finished if I was 100%....cold still lingering and has pulled me down.

Say, questions for the coaches/experts......is it beneficial to finish the workout after the cutoff. If so, what's the guidelines based on "what you have left"?? I often regret not hammering out the last reps.....like today.

Today I did 3 rds: 5 strict CTB pullups 10 DB thruster/push press (40#) 25 situps
didn't time it, but those DB thruster/push presses are not fun! also, the hotel DBs were the kind with really wide plates, so it was harder to control them. on the other hand, i like a hotel with a place to do real pullups AND dips!!

Hilg,
I am going to write a bunch on this topic because I think it deserves to be covered. I will put it on my blog so read it later this afternoon and I will give you my opinion on the matter. Dont want to take too much space on here. Great questions people and make sure to read what I have to say and maybe you all can put in your two cents

13:36 option B"ish"-Jon had me do 8 pullups each round without a band. I was FINALLY able to get 3 kipping pullups in a row which shocked the heck out of me.
Great job 6am.

14:13 option B
feeling slow today = was slow on my workout today - too much rest and not enough "UMPH" to push on the running. and my arms are going to fall off from this week!

11:53 option B. Runs were pretty good, and the pullups felt better than they have in months. I guess dropping 10# and lightening the load will do that.
Excellent job Jess, love you!

14:29 on option B.
Probably could have been a little faster if Jimmy hadn't have made me do air squats correctly. :D
Using less bands on pull-ups so getting excited about actually seeing progress.

Finished my first go-through of Barbell II tonight. PR'd Power cleans and Squat the last couple of days and PR'd press tonight w/174. Thanks for working out with me Jimbo, and good luck to Mike and Lynn tomorrow! Did the Games WOD 11.2 afterwards. 14 box jumps short of seven rounds. Box jumps were defintely the great equalizer. Thanks for counting Ricky!
