    I got to 428, which is 8 pounds short of my PR. Felt good, though.

  6. I got to 200lbs and was thrilled! Had never done a max deadlift day but was originally thinking I'd try for 175. Great job Xtina for getting 200 too!

  10. I got a PR by 35#. Granted, the last time we did 1RM deadlifts (6/24/08 if you were wondering) was EARLY into my fittin'. I got 220#. I should be more excited about that, but after seeing Lindsey's 150, I really wanted it. I just wasn't all there today. O well. Lindsey, I am impressed!

  14. This was a demoralizing day for me. I tweaked my lower back doing HSPU on Friday and it really hurt me today when DL's started getting heavy. My pr is 375, but I couldn't get past 308 today. Very frustrating. Heavy DL's are one of my favorite lifts which made it even worse.
    However, there were some monsters who showed up this morning and when the weight would no longer fit on the bar they planned on going down to the UHaul and lifting trucks. Unfortunately time ran out so it never happen. Nevertheless we had some beasts this morning.

  22. okay people, before anyone gives me sh*t for not being there on a strength day, I had the longest day at work EVER, then a dental appointment. SO, the next rest day, which I believe is Thursday, I will be doing MAX DEADLIFTS. I am looking forward to it, and may even eat 2 eggs prior to coming in. :-) Oh, and my goal is 210# with proper form, so we shall see...

    I had a very unpleasant experience and don't think I even PR'd. 207 and quit....no excuse other than I couldn't put full weight on my right quad (shakin like bacon)...not sure what is up with my leg. Might take a rest day tomorrow or take some obuprofen so I can't feel it ;)

    I am extremely jealous of the 250 club, but don't worry I will get there someday - you guys rock :)

    Hand stand pushups went well and I made up for yesterday :)

  42. Great work to everyone today. It is so exciting for me to be part of such a motivated group. I love seeing so many people go for PRs. Underline "go for", as going for a PR is the most important part. Having a goal and going for it is more important than actually reaching it. Awesome effort everyone. 406lbs PR.

  46. I was shooting for at least 350# since the last heavy dead lifts we did were 3 rep max and I got 328#. On my 11th set I hit 384# and was going to call it quits but some people talked me in to going for 401. It was pretty ugly but I managed to get it. Thanks everyone for the support!!

    Awesome weight being lifted today by everyone!!

  48. I MADE THE 250 CLUB!! it wasn't pretty but I made it!! great job to everyone in 6:30 class! it definitely helped to do a couple tuck jumps before that last lift to get the excitement up!

  50. Congrats to everyone who got PR's tonight. Was happy with my final lift, will be really happy if my back doesn't hurt tomorrow. But as of right now, I think I'm going to be safe- there's something to be said for proper form.

  58. 272 - PR by about 18 pounds! I love strength days, especially deadlift days... I'm not sure love is a strong enough word. I'm not sure there IS a strong enough word. And there was some great energy in the 5:30 group... Almost 24 hours later I still have a little strength-day buzz....
