WOD
Run two miles for time.

Aim for twelve minutes or less. If it takes longer than twelve minutes do burpees. Starting at 10 burpees if you don't make the 12 minute cutoff, add 5 reps for every minute past twelve minutes. If it takes you 13:? do 15 burpees. Finish in 15:? and you have 25 burpees and so on.

Post time to comments.

Congratulations to everyone on participating in the "Cindy" challenge. Look for the next challenge, coming soon.

  2. Didn't feel like doing much of anything today. I worked on turkish getups and overhead squats with just my 45lb bar and took dog for a walk....

    Welcome Eileen ;)

  4. oh. my. god. I've decided I am grounding myself from any future crossfit events...and probably crossfit all together.

Greg thanks for a fun get together. I had a great time (I'm guessing)!

I will do this workout when the booze leaves my body!

  6. I ran for about 45 minutes today. It is beautiful outside! I did the first 2 miles in the 12 minutes and slowed WAY down for the rest of the time. I thought about doing burpees anyway... then I remembered no one (Ricky and Joe) was around to make me do them, so I didn't.
I hope everyone had a good time last night! I'm still sorry I missed it!

  10. V - agreed. Though I didn't come to the bonfire (sorry everyone!) - feel like a truck hit me and don't trust myself running two miles today. Steve-shoulda just ran yesterday like you suggested! :)

It was awesome seeing so many people at the gym yesterday and meeting many of you. I am even more excited now after my first week at Crossfit Omaha to become an established member of the gym. Keep up the great work everyone.

  16. I did offer to join you for a mile run yesterday, Kelli!

Ang- you ran 2 miles at a 6 min pace? Impressive.

I did get some mileage in today, was a nice day to run outside. But no times or distances.

  18. Welcome aboard, John!

I want to try to get the 2mi in under 12, but it would be my 5th day in a row, and I need some time. Great goal, though--I'm dying to see if I can do it.
