Handstand Push ups: On The Minute

Every minute on the minute for 10 minutes, perform 3 handstand push ups. Scale up by adding additional range of motion or if you do not have hspu, scale the movement to help further development.

Conditioning

Five rounds for time of:
Walking Lunges, 30 steps
30 Wall Balls, 20#/14#

  2. Awesome to be back after a couple weeks of travel. I got to visit CrossFit 847 in Chicago last week and enjoyed seeing how they roll. Also taught early morning body weight classes at our companies annual kickoff in Chicago this week. I think I might have recruited some new CrossFitters.....just not in Omaha. :-(

    13:59 Rx'd on the Metcon......those lunges really kicked in earlier.....must have been a theme with all the groaning going on! lol Started the HSPUs with 3 and an abmat but fell back to 2 quickly and finished the last couple rounds on the box as my shoulders gave out.

  6. That sucks Paul. It seems something is floating around, I am trying to hide from it.

    Another great noon class. Used 1 yellow bumper on each side for slightly elevated HSPU and got through all 10 rounds.

    8:55 Rx'd on the met-con. Lunges got pretty difficult in the later rounds. Legs were screaming afterwards.

  8. HSPUs went better than I thought they would. Used one abmat. Got through 8 sets before I missed one. Only got two reps in the last 2 sets.
    15:41 on the metcon. Legs were dead after the first round. Nice job 5AMers!

  10. HSPUs- went for 3 strict each min and actually did it. Nice.

    14:02 RX'd for the metcon and I know I will feel it for days!

  12. HSPU: scaled with 1 abmat and did 2 reps each min for 7 min. Failed round 8 and went to 2 abmats for rounds 9 & 10.

    11:51 scaled to 21 reps and 12# ball
