  2. 3 rnds, 15 wall balls. This one could've gone better. Had nothing in the tank after the first round. Ouch. At least I'll be good and relaxed for my motorcycle riding test today instead of nervous and jerky.
Welcome back Ricky and the rest of the CFOers who went to the Games!

  4. Goal was 7 rounds... I figured just under 3 min a round. I was close.

    6 rounds + 20 box jumps + 10 wall balls

Jon Day will probably kill that time because he, as well as the rest of the games crew are machines when it comes to toes to bar! Those absolutely killed me and slowed me down big time.... Did about four sets of five for those. I need to learn how to kip.

But another thing I did was listen to Ricky and not count reps if I didn't hit the target on wall ball or stand up completely on the box, didn't want to cheat myself.

Good luck the rest of the day it's a good one, and it was fun to have Ricky coach a 5 am class.

  6. Tough one today. The key is to keep some in the tank to keep moving the whole time. I could have done better.

4 rounds. Toes to the bar are very hard for me. I need to work on that movement more often.

On the upside, I did climb a rope for the first time in my life today...I do love CrossFit for giving me the strength and confidence to tackle things I have never done before!!

  8. Tougher than I thought. T2B killed me. I used to be able to kip, but apparently I lost that part of my game! 6am came pretty early today. 5rds + 3T2B.

  14. Tough one, saw some stars mid workout so had to take a breather outside. Should have done better. 2 rounds + 10 KTE. Good to hear Rick's voice hollering at us this morning. Welcome home.

  16. Ricky,

I was wondering if you were going to get back to posting strength WODS on Strength Development Inc's blog. I am wanting to do more strength training at home and I am looking for a good routine to get in to. Right now I am doing a slightly modified version of Rippitoe's Starting Strength program.

  18. 218 reps today

    3 rds, 20 box jumps + 18 wall balls rx'd.

Toes to bar slowed me down the most. After the first and mid second round they were 3-4 at a time. Grip went fast on those. Positive note, box jumps and wall balls feeling better and faster.

2 rope climbs before wod were fun. I got rope burns!!

    Nicely done nooners!

  20. 389 reps or 6 rounds + 20 box jumps + 9 wall balls

Different box jump standards today were cool. I feel like I may be getting close to doing them correctly.

Not a huge fan of T2B. This is where most of my time was spent. I also brought gloves to keep my hands from tearing. It was a good idea.

  22. 4 rounds + 12 T2B

Had a good pace for the box jumps and wall balls but spent a lot of time on the T2B. Wish I would have had a pair of gloves like Jake!

  24. these 20 min bad boys are always tough for me. 4 rds + 13 TTB = 293 reps. I remembered to bring a towel, but it wasn't enough. TTB got mighty tough after 2-3 rds.

am I crazy, or is negra modelo an amazing recovery drink?

  26. 4 rounds + 7 wall balls

and got my first rope climb. That was kinda cool!
  27. Shelley Says:
  28. 4 rounds + 7 T2B

T2B is where I spent most of my time on this one. I wore gloves part of the time which saved my hands, but compromised my grip a bit.

    Good work 5:30!

Congrats to Kristina and Jenn for getting their first rope climbs!!!
  29. Jess Says:
  30. 5 rds plus 8 wall balls

I scaled this workout to step ups with 3 reds, 12# ball and 44# RDLs (thanks Jimbo and Joe for coming up with modifications for me)

Great job 5:30pm. Nice working out with some new peeps.

  32. 5 rds rx'd

Finished T2B with about 2 seconds to spare. Only 1 small tear from those damn T2B.
  33. hannah eileen Says:
  34. 7 rds BUT I did only 10 reps/round and used a 20# ball. It's crazy how much heavier that feels than 14. I, of course, tore on the last round of T2B. Stupid...

Thanks For Visiting!
