10 DB Thruster/Push Press Combo, 45#/30#
5 Burpees

The db thruster/push press combo is a thruster followed immediately by a push press (10 squats but 20 reps overhead per round). Will anyone reach 6 full rounds?  How about 7 or 8?

    Thruster - 1RM - Clean Thrustered 225# a few weeks back so was hoping for more since I used a rack

    - Think the best score was 10RDS which is what I was trying to beat but Push Ups slowed way down
    - 9 2/3 RDS (Still 90 Push Ups)

  18. 5 rounds + 1/2 rep....just couldn't get those damn DB to get off my shoulders fast enough for the push press.
    I used 25# DB's.

    Great work 5am...all 4 of us! Small but mighty class this morning!

  22. oh man! I hurt in places I didn't know would from this - the arches of my feet and my wrists!
    I'm sure my shoulders will kill tomorrow! I already have welts popping up from the DBs!

    not rx'd - used 20# dbs
    6 rounds + 7 thurster pushers

    I burned through the first round thinking this isn't that bad - but then went into my second round thinking - WHY AM I doing this to myself! OUCH!

  32. Lots of fun at 6:30pm. Finished with 5 rounds and 3 thruster push presses rxd. After the start of the second round I did not think I would make it to five but Addi reminded me that it was supposed to suck a lot. Great job 6:30 and welcome to the new Steve.
