  2. 15:01 that means I didn't finish. I had 15 situps left. Pull ups were fine, situps make my back get really tight and I had to rest wayyy to much. I used the 15-15-15-10-10-5-5 except I did the 5s as one 10.

    Another full house and great class at 6am!

  6. more 7am brutality. couldn't quite push jerk 208 today. frustrating.

    10 rds
    3 hang power cleans (75% BW=154...roughly)
    5-10-5 shuttle
    rest 30

    then 50 burpees.

    5x1 power clean and push jerk:
    109,121,131,141 and 146.

    metcon:
    10 rounds of:
    3 hang cleans
    20 yr shuttle sprint
    rest 30 seconds between rounds

    choice of 1.25 x BW, 1.0 x BW or .75 x BW on hang cleans. 30,40 or 50 burpees followed depending on weight used on hang cleans.

    I did .75 X BW (114)

    The hang cleans went well as I never had to set the bar down or rest in between each rep. 50 burpees really sucked.....

  10. DNF.... But that is okay! This workout still made my heart hurt (as Ricky said this morning). I did the 15 rds of 5 pu/ 10 su. I finished with 4 rounds left.

  12. DNF. That being said I went for the 15 rounds of 5PU/10 SU. I finished 8 rounds. I got a lot of direction on my pull ups--my last 3 were the best. I finally got the movement down..finally got the "controlled violence" thing that Ricky was talking about. Hate the DNF...but proud of my last 3 PU...so I'll stop being pissed about it. Hope I can figure out the "controlled violence" a little quicker next time. Nice showing 6am!

  14. Nice job again 7am. Clean and Jerk at 220 but couldn't quite get 230. 230 is my nemisis. on the Met Con did more than .75 of body weight but prob should have done bw. All skin that was on my thumbs are now RIP in the gym somewhere. 50 burpees after was awesome. Nice workout.

    CFO WOD looks fun, everyone has had a great time today! Everyone should make it in!

    5x1 Power Clean and Push Jerk
    186, 198, 208, 220, missed 230.

    Did BW in the 3 reps Hang Power Clean and shuttle run. Didn't kill myself on the metcon, just tried to be as fundamentally sound as possible.

    Killed myself on the 40 Burpees though... : )

  20. I finished 11 and 1/2 rounds of 5 pull ups (with a band) and 10 sit ups. I was doing great getting 1 round done a minute for the first 5 rounds, but then it fell apart after that. Great class this AM, nice to see so many people in the class.

  22. DNF. Attempted the Rx'd. Got through 4 rounds plus 9 PU's. My grip went to shit and I busted both hands open during rounds 3 and 4. Not really pleased with my results, but in retrospect I probably moved a little too slow too.

    5x1 power clean & push jerk - 142, 154, 159, 164, 169

    Metcon - used 125 (.75ish BW) - 6:00
    50 burpees - another 4:24

    Felt really good today. Which shouldn't be surprising, as I had 3 damn rest days.

  30. DNF. Tried 15x(5+10) scheme and got through 13 full rounds. This REALLY frustrates me, because I had plenty of gas left, just didn't have the arms to do it. I need to learn how to kip properly... thanks for the help Jon, I don't think I've ever done 4 in a row before...

  32. DNF. scaled w/the 15rnds of 5 & 10. finished 11 full rounds exactly. it was the situps that got me and this stupid cold.

    awesome job 6:30! we had a huge class.

    Metcon - BWt + a few lbs:
    147, must have gotten something out of strength class, because that, too, felt way too easy
