  4. Taper week continued... Tried a short metcon... I'm definitely ready to get back into some metcons more consistently after this meet

    Snatch (85%) of opener
    88, 110, 135, 154, 164, 174
    Clean and Jerk - Same

    Clean Pulls (Did the three weights I hope to hit on my clean this weekend for singles)

    Pull Ups X10

    3RDS... I slowed down significantly by the third RD... Price you pay for a little strength development...

  6. I can't do any HSPU, but i did some BEAUTIFUL negatives.

    I also did all 90 burpees in 6 min, which pretty much sucked. I have the dreaded black lung now, bad.

  8. yep! no HSPUs for this girl! Just holds and attempts to do negatives result in crushing my cervical spine! Considering what my press and dead hang pullups are like, I believe I am a while off before I can get one

    5 rounds on the burpees - I couldn't breath and am now also fearing the black lung wod!

  12. got 89 burpees in the 6 min...i should've been watching the clock a lil bit better! It's the worst feeling to be so close to finishing...1 stickin burpee :(

    As for HSPU....i still need a lot of work...thanks jimbo and jon for all the tips!
