WOD
Rest Day

Here are two videos concerning the upcoming Fight Gone Bad fundraiser. This is a wonderful event that helps raise money for three great causes. The Wounded Warriors Project raises funds for our military men and women who have been injured while on the job fighting for your freedom, the Livestrong foundation was founded by Lance Armstrong and raises funds for cancer research, and the CrossFit foundation benefits military, first responder, and law enforcement families with fitness equipment and other needs the foundation sees as appropriate.

The top affiliate in the world so far is from South Brooklyn and has raised over 37,000. Yes, a gym probably much smaller than us has raised 37,000. I am asking that you consider making a donation at the gym to this event and possibly take part in the workout on Saturday, September 25th. It is not a competition. It is the same thing you do everyday you come into the gym, workout.

If you would please take the time to at least think about these two things, we would greatly appreciate it. I think it's a great thing that we can even hold fundraisers like this being that we have a military that goes out and does our dirty work so that we can make choices. Let's try and repay them some. Thank you for your time.

  2. I said I could do it in 10 minutes, and guess what? I didn't!!

15:32. Pretty tough. Fairly happy with my pace, though. I crapped out on lunges, mostly because i hate in-place lunges. not a good excuse, but i'm just telling the truth.

  6. That's funny Eric! I don't think I've seen that before.

I did Tuesday's power clean WOD today since I missed it. Got 262. I was fairly pleased with it, but I did have to drop into a full catch to get it.

  10. Came in a did a workout from CrossFit Football:
    9 hang power cleans
    15 toes to bars
    6 hpc
    15 t2b
    3 hpc
    15 t2b

Used 137# for the hpc, finished in about 7:35. The t2b slowed me down more than I was expecting, and I probably should've gone heavier and/or faster, but all in all this was a nice rest day wod. They have some very enticing wod's at CF football, would love to try more of them.

Thanks For Visiting!
