With a continuously running clock, and every minute on the minute, perform 5 pull ups, 10 push ups, and 15 air squats. Can you continue for thirty minutes? Twenty minutes? How about 10?

If you fall behind the clock, keep going for thirty minutes (staying with every minute on the minute) and see how many rounds you can complete.

If you need to show friends and family what CrossFit is, show them this video. Sometimes it's hard to put into words what our gym is all about. This video does it nicely.

  2. Looking for a 4th person for the golf event. The team fee is already paid, you just have to pay your $50 fee to the team captain instead. If interested sign up at CFO for the Brandon Berry team.

  4. Wow, love the new surprise edition to the gym! It looks great! (slight design flaw should be easily remedied)

Video: Our gym could have a sweet video like that!

    Chelsea 23 rounds + 7 squats.
    Pushups were the round killers.

  10. 6 Rounds + 10 Squats Rx'd. The pushup elephant jumped on my back in round 6 and kinda stayed there. Finished with 13 rounds total (in 20 min)but the Push Ups got a bit questionable.

Feeling much better about my Pull Ups this week.....less swinging/more hips...thanks, Joe.

  20. Thanks for posting that, GregMo... Have to agree with Justin and several of the comments - the triplet is a little lame. Kind of like the idea someone on there posted of switching the reps for cleans and pullups, but I think 'thunderhorse' (bad-ass name) nailed it: "Full Grace (30 squat clean and jerks) or Isabel (30 snatches) at a heavier weight might be better I think. Crossfitters would be shown the efficiency benefits of better O-lifting technique over sloppily grinding through."

Definitely think a heavier weight on whichever lift they use would have been better, and maybe another element that's not as CF-specific as kipping pullups if they want to attract the weightlifters.

P.S. From now on, I will only respond to 'thunderhorse.'

  22. I just wanted to say "THANK YOU CROSSFIT OMAHA" for your support for all of us who competed out at Nationals this year :-) The various Fundraisers helped us out with fueling our bodies to compete and travel expenses. I really appreciate the support from the gym!!!

The experience was great but knowing we had everyone cheering us on back home was even better.

Today's workout was a good one to come back to...everyone pushing really hard on a benchmark that seems longer than "November Rain" and everyone did great!

  24. Got to join the 4:30 class today. great job everyone! Oh, those push-ups got tough.

15 rnds +5 pull-ups+6 push-ups rx'd. almost 16. i was happy with this. my goal was 12, knowing that going in the push-ups was what was gonna slow me down. the last few rounds it was down to one push up at a time.

i really love the new pull-up bars!

  26. Did 4:30 class today and it was a good one!

16 rounds plus 6 pushups Rx'd. Pushups always suck, and I was down to doing 1 at a time after getting maybe one or two(if lucky) sets of 2.

    Great job everyone!!

  28. 17 rounds rx'd. I think I may be in love with the new pull up bars - 85 pullups and 0 tears or rips. It's early in our relationship though so I don't want to get too excited, but there was definite chemistry between us.

  30. 19 rds. not what i was hoping for, but i am grateful that my hands didn't tear and that i didn't get too dehydrated.

    love the new pullup bars!

  32. 17 rnds Rx'd. - 1st 5 rounds were 1 a min.

I never got down to singles which means I didn't fail...right Ricky!?!
My goal in this wod was to never get to singles so my pushups for the 1st half of my rounds were 3/4/3. Then I went to doubles and the last 2 rounds I did 3/4/3 again. Pullups felt good, I did all 5 each round til the last 4 rounds I did 3/2 and on the 17th round I did all 5.
    Great job 5:30!

Thanks For Visiting!
