If you can swing the time, I would highly encourage you give the strength class a try. The goal with CrossFit is to go prescribed weights, reps, etc and finish fast. That is where the results lie, in the intensity.

In our strength class, you are in a group with only 7 other people and the instruction provided is intricate. The attention you get is superb. It is just something you can't get in a class full of 20 other people.

The next session begins on June 22nd. The cost is only $150 for 8 weeks (24 sessions). If you are interested, click on the links below. It is worth it and you will get stronger.

  2. All right first one on / one off cycle in the new program and was somewhat disappointed with my maxes but I just felt off today so its all good...

    Snatch Max - 110, 154, 179, 189, 198, 203, 208, missed 214 twice :(

Clean and Jerk Max - 154, 198, 220, 240, 250, 255 - No misses but felt heavy and my timing just feels slow and off

Front Squat (Russian Squat Program) - 2 sets of 4 @ 90% 0f my current max

    135, 185, 225, 250X2X4 - Tough but no missed reps

    GH Raises 2X12
    Twisting Sit Ups 2X15EA side

30 muscle ups for time - Never finished 30 straight before- GOT IT!! ;)... 8:20ish

  6. Did strength class at 7:30:

213# 3x5 back squat; used wall ball to make sure I was getting the right depth every time.

69# 3x5 press; need to make sure I'm breathing right on these and pausing at top and not the bottom of rep.

124# 3x5 power cleans; these were probably the best I've ever done in terms of keeping the bar close and not moving my feet out. I still need to get full extension every time.

    Good work everyone!

Thanks For Visiting!
