The workout in the pic was during Big Brothers/Big Sisters day at the gym. We had some mentors come and work out with some of our less fortunate little ones.

  2. 12:39 Rx'd HUGE thanks to Ricky and the 6 amers for getting me through this one. I started out 132 and started to switch plates out when Ricky challenged me.....glad I stuck with it....there was plenty of time and I wasnt' hurting, just tired. Anyway, I wasn't 100% this morning for some reason....feeling sluggish still. Tomorrows a new day! B

    125# was a no-go, but 120 is fine - 130 was my 1RM at regionals.

    Didn't have time to stay for the metcon - I'll be back this afternoon!

  14. 6:30 - both better and worse than anticipated. Better time, worse feelings. Only 15 and 3 were unbroken for push presses - burpees felt dumb and slow. I was surprised how much the burpees tired out/hurt my shoulders. You'd think I'd know better by now.

    Congratulations, Lauren, on your FIRST MUSCLE-UP!!

    I used 88# for Push Press with the following rep scheme:

    21-18-15-12-9 reps of Push Press
    15-12-9-6-3 reps of Burpees

  20. Holy Shit... First long metcon i've done since regionals and wow... haha

    3RM Thruster...
    Finished at 219#... Not bad might have been able to get 220something but was on my last set..

    Metcon....
    100 yard Sprint then on the way back do a burpee every 10 yards for a total of 11 burpees... 11 CTB Pull Ups
    90 yard Sprint then 10 burpees back... 10 CTB Pull Ups... And so on until you get down to 1 and 1...
    So 1100m of running plus 66 burpees plus 66 CTB pull ups...
    - Not timed but took 18-20 mins

  26. 2:36 on metcon. I did 104# w/ 9-6-3 rep scheme for both push press and burpees because I did srength class afterwards.

    strength class: 208# on 3x5 back squat; 120# on 3x5 bench press and 247# on DL 1x5. Thanks for the advice on bench press Jimbo; I don't think I would have gotten the last rep (or two) on the last set without it.

  28. I did 15 12 9 6 3 burpees and psuh press with 95pd it was very difficult and I did nt have a watch on it so I have no idea what it took me. I know I need help on my form since i completely burned out in the second set.

    Well I got a better time than I THOUGHT I would but i still feel like I could have gone a bit faster (especially looking at Addi's time....dang girl slow down!) I need to push myself harder on the body weight movements like stupid burpees...thanks for yellin at me ADDI! ;)
