Saturday classes at 8 and 9AM are almost closed off. The following people are the only athletes allowed during those time slots once they fill up. If you miss two weekends in a row, your spot will be opened up to someone from the gym who wants it.

I decided to open up a few more spots at 8AM which opened up some more slots at 9AM. This is it though. Once 8AM and 9AM are filled, there will not be anyone else allowed into these class times. If you can't commit to a time slot and the classes become full, I am sorry but there won't be enough room. Thanks for understanding.

There are no spots available for either 8AM or 9AM class. Once filled, the only way to get in is to take the place of someone already in, most likely by switching with them or checking to see if anyone is going to be out of town.

Ten AM will remain a class for team-based workouts. No one is allowed to do their own thing at 10AM. Eleven AM is for 1-on-1s and people trying out CrossFit Omaha for the first time. The gym closes at noon. Thanks for your understanding and I hope that with the addition of 9AM, quality returns and everyone gets the attention they deserve.

Post thoughts, if any, to comments.

  8. My goodness, that had everything in it except the kitchen sink.

I DNF this one. I had 2 rope climbs left. This was my first attempt at rope climbs so I very surprised I even got one. Thanks for everyone's help on the climb.

Great job 6am peeps and Happy BDay Angela!!! :u)

  10. Happy Birthday, Ang!

Nick, I hope your hamstring problem isn't anything serious!

I have a feeling there will be another photo-op of me damn near passed out after today's WO!

  14. Ang, didn't know it was your birthday....way to "celebrate"!!

I, however, will not be celebrating after DNFing post Wall Balls.

I think I look WAY worse than Paul after this morning....hands are shaking while I'm typing! (exaggerating but you get my point....ouch) ;-)

Thanks for all the support, 6amers, wouldn't get near as far without it.

  16. 24:10, I scaled the ring dips to 10 dips and 15 jumping ring dips and scaled the swings to 1.5 pood, everything else as rx'd. You can really fly through the first 3 movements, but once you hit the dips time seems to stand still, at least that's how it was for me. Kudos to Greg Mo and Ang for knocking this thing out Rx'd in stellar time, and anyone else that I may have missed. This was no joke, but a great way to start the week. Nice job everyone.

    Happy birthday Ang!

  18. Happy Birthday Ang!!

Scaled pullups to 2 purple bands, box jumps to 30 and all jumping ring dips. Had 10 wall balls and rope climbs to go at time. Great job to everyone; really looking forward to resting tomorrow!

  22. 15:12 rxd

hands felt like they were gonna rip out of the sockets this morn...good 1 to come back from a long wkend break 2 do...unbroken sets until ring dips, did sets of 5, then pretty much broke up everything from that point forward except situps...

i'll take a 9am spot if there is 1 left...

    Way to work 6amers!!!

  28. I also scaled to 15 pullups (should have just done 5 more) and 1 pood kb swings; forgot to post those in my earlier one. Good luck to everyone in the later classes!

I felt pretty good until the dips. I was doing one at a time for the last 10 almost. I was playing catch-up with Greg Mo and Eric from there on. And who would have thought that RDL's were gonna be so hard!?! Ha.
Great work this morning. Nice job Jess on the rope climbs.

    And thanks.
  35. Gina Says:
  36. I scaled this so much, especially in the beginning, I couldn't begin to write it all down. I am happy to say I did get some true double unders, though. I had 9 wall balls and the rope climbs left.

Happy birthday Angela! Nice work everyone this morning. That was a tough one! Tomorrow I will be taking the rest day and enjoying my extra hour and a half of sleep!

  40. that is a whole other kind of tired. that was brutal. i was pretty much fighting not to pass out from the KB swings onward. 19:35 rx'ed.
  41. Eric C Says:
  42. 16:55 as Rx'd.

I go to Vegas and have fun and feel good. Then I come home, get the shakes and almost throw up (after today's WOD). Isn't it supposed to be the other way around?

I was haul'n ass until the damn KB swings. Damn you 2 pood!!!!!!!
  43. hannah eileen Says:
  44. Swings actually felt really good today. I usually can't get 1.5 pood more than 5 times, so I was happy. I can't say rx'd because of the damn ring dips. o well. 20:17ish.
Huge noon class today with tons of effort! great job, guys!

  58. Yep, hamstring is definitely jacked! I really want to do this one. Maybe on the rest day. I felt it pop during the third round of sprints. I feel like everytime I am getting in some good shape and like where my progress is getting, I get a damn injury! Does this happen to anyone else? I am so pissed! I will be icing and heating tonight.

    Nick

  62. Finished in 19:25 RX'd. Man that was rough. I thought the hardest part would be the sings but it ended up being the rope climbs and the wall balls for me. Great job 4:30 and great to see the new people at the class, welcome!
  63. Allison H :) Says:
  64. FYI: the flu vaccine + low grade fever is not condusive to working out! I feel like death now! UGHHH! But I loved this wod - I want to give it another GO when I don't feel like poo poo! :) great team work tonight at 4:30!
  65. Addi Says:
  66. 18:56, I think? I know it was just under 19. Senility is setting in..

Scaled the ring dips - 5 kipping, the rest jumping. These have gotten a lot harder... need to practice.

I just felt WEAK the whole time - realized today that my less-than-stellar eating habits this summer are catching up with me. Time to rein it in again. :(
  67. Crystal Says:
  68. 23:50. Scaled to 1 pood for swings & on ring dips: 4 rx'd/4 jumping & then did 3 jumping/2 rx'd until I got to 25. This was tough. Wasn't sure if I would finish or not.

Awesome job 6:30! Nice job Fred from Atlanta.
  69. Kelli Says:
  70. 24:52 - just under the wire. Scaled to all jumping ring dips and did rope climbs scaled too. I was going to do full rope climbs, but since that was like my 3rd time actually climbing a rope, I decided to scale at the last minute. I am not a monkey. ;) Great job everyone at 6:30!
  71. paul Says:
  72. Really nice work by everyone today. I was really impressed by the noon crowd.

Nick--really sorry to hear about your hamstring! I hope it doesn't hold you back for long. Give it enough rest, and I'm sure when you get back in you'll tear sh!t up as always.
  73. Danielle Says:
  74. 20:30 did all jumping ring dips. Probably should have attempted actual ones. Did 1 pood on KB swings...wish they made a 1.25 pood to help with the transition, who knows they might.

Wore shorts and do not have rope burn, who would have known :)

Everyone at 4:30 kicked butt today!

Thanks For Visiting!
