Ricky Frausto Filed Under:

WOD
Teams of Four (preferably two guys and two gals)
Choose 3 of the following exercises to try and complete as many reps as possible in 20 minutes:

Burpees
Wall Balls, 20#/14#
Jumping Ring Dips (top of ring at armpit height)
Power Snatch, 65# for both sexes
Jumping Ball Slams, 16# for both sexes

The rules are as follows:
  1. Each team can only choose three exercises and must remain with those same three exercises for the duration of the workout.
  2. Three people must be working out at all times. If one person needs to rest the person already resting is required to jump right in and take his/her place.
  3. The ten foot target must be reached in order for a wall ball rep to count. This rule applies even if the weight is scaled. Delegate the work carefully.
  4. During the first ten minutes, each team is allotted one full minute of rest for all members. The same goes for the last 10 minutes. Whichever minute a team chooses, all members must rest at that same time. The rest periods can be consecutive at the 10th and 11th minute for a total of two minutes.
  5. If you are not moving for any reason, including bar or ball in hand, falling to the ground for a burpee, or jumping into the air during ring dips, you must tag the already resting partner. Coaches have final say.
Post team name, members, and total number of reps accumulated to comments.

  8. I think Paul may be rethinking the "sweet" comment. This was tough. As Ricky pointed out "it IS about winning and losing," and we LOST. We've got team spirit though. Nice work Nicole, Wes and Paul! (plus Bonus Greg)

  10. Yes, Jen, I have to say that was a lot less sweet than I'd anticipated. But still fun in a sick way! We fought hard--great work, Jen, Nicole, and Wes!

  12. I need a rest day. BAD. Especially after the fights last night and my 5000# workout yesterday, plus Eva in that mix this week. Good lord. I'm crippled.

And Happy Birthday Brian! And everyone, it's Jen Thomas and Alex Duarte's birthdays on Tuesday...their golden birthdays!

  14. I teamed up with Ang, Angie and Jeff S and we knocked out 1419 total reps, tops @ 10am (aka we won). We had a great gameplan and it was an awesome team effort, and a perfect way to kickoff my birthday weekend. Thanks for all the warm wishes and if anyone is interested it sounds like there could be a small gathering later this eveing at Varsity on 144th and F, keep an eye on mine and/or Jess' Facebooks for details. Later crackas!

  16. Great team workout - tough though. Teamed up with Ricky, Ron, Kelleigh. Think we did a pretty awesome job, even though we did let BChrist's team win, but only cuz it was his birthday ;o) hahah..jk.

Happy birthday B...my present to you was being able to see my lovely face this morning....hahahaha...won't be able to make it to Varsity, but have one for me!

  20. Its fun to win huh team? And it wasn't even close. Ha. We had a plan and we stuck to it and I think that helped us a lot. We had enough rest everyone worked hard when they were supposed to.
The other teams looked like they were working hard too. Nice job.
Happy birthday B Christ! Have fun tonight.

  24. Worked out by helping a friend move today. Very functional, quite varied. Not very intense, though. Oh well.
