What does everyone think of a Stink and Drink?? After a work-out everyone goes up to the Time Clock and has a few beers. Reba and I went up there last week after Crossfit, the place is really big. They have darts, pool tables, dance floor, all kind of great stuff.
I am not in the mood to drink for about 2 days :) but just wanted to throw it out there to see if there is an interest.

Danielle, I'm down.
Not that anyone's surprised. Except maybe about my willingness to show up for a workout.

addi, it's perfectly okay to get an hour head start at the bar in order to miss the workout.

count me in! Today I did: 3 Rounds: Row 500m, 15 Deadlift 155#, 15 KB swings 1.5 pood. I ended up switching to 1 pood for rounds 2 and 3. Finished 20:13 (I think thats what it was). I really can feel my weakness in workouts like this, which is my midline. Oh...and not coming in to CF very much...NY Resolution #1 - Do NOT miss CF workouts! ha ha ha.

Warmed up with 2km row, then did Lynn since I haven't benched in a long, long time... I do remember, back when I worked out in traditional gyms, that I always took off the first two or three weeks in January. Seems like everyone's resolution was to get in shape so the gyms were packed! But predictably, they were all gone or burnt out after a couple of weeks and then I could get back to my normal routine.

Lindsay and I did "Linda" - I had to scale it, but got an idea of where I am at with bench press. First time doing that since probably highschool or college. 31 mins scaled.
The deadlifts were the WORST for me. 185lbs is really really heavy for me and I must admit my form went to SH*T by the end of that one. Oh yes - it was ugly - my back - shoulders rounded like no other.....my old pilates instructors would be appalled!! ha!
Nice work Linds and thanks for doing that one with me :)

Stink and drink sounds like a winner winner chicken dinner, I'm in.
As for today, I did the Clean and Jerk ladder at 110# - 1 the first minute, 2 the second, etc etc. I made it to 6 reps in the 6th minute and the second I dropped the bar it was time to start the 7th minute. Needless to say 6 is where I stopped, then after a couple minutes of rest I worked back down from 6. Then I did another ladder doing full squat cleans, made it to 5 before my legs got angry with me. All in all it was a nice rest day WOD. Great job Mel C and Chad, and all the nooners.

I finally got my ass back in the gym today!!!
I still can't do much with my right arm so I did:
3 rounds 50# DB Snatch, 15 reps 30 Box Jumps, 20 inches 45 Air Squats
I didn't time it but tried to push myself. My legs are fried. I can't wait to be back at 100%

I did the clean & jerk ladder at 98# with B and Mel C. I completed 6 reps in the 7th round and fell over the bar and couldn't complete the round. We waited 2 minutes then did the ladder backwards.

Christine: 13:46. My last one was 11:19, but I'm calling this a PR because I did it after having champagne and ice cream for lunch (don't even ask).
