I have posted this picture on the blog before but go back to it every time I start to get a little lazy with my own training. It motivates me to get back on the saddle every time.

There will be a new year's party that is hosted by Blas Hilario and brothers. It is being held at the Paxton Ballroom and the cost is $40 a head. There will be free appetizers, beer, and wine. We will have an exclusive CrossFit table for those that want to come. Money is due by the 26th (Money can be given to Kylie if you are interested).

  2. 7:59 using 88#. I still have a hard time with snatches so decided to go light hoping to improve my form and technique...not that I could've gone much heavier. Good job morning crew, and way to push it Zach.

  8. 7:03 with 120, tried 132 had the mental block on not getting it overhead so stuck with 120. I need to get past that mental block. Good job nooners.

  16. I came in a little early today to do yesterday's before class. I did:
    21-15-9: 1:31
    9-15-21: 2:08

    For today I finished in 5:36 with 120 lbs. I did a couple snatches in warm up with 132 but I failed on more than one occasion so I dropped it down a little for the workout. I am happy to say I am slowly starting to get better at these, maybe someday I'll even do one completely correctly... maybe...

  18. 6:44 I think, using 68#. If I could ever get the mechanics down, these, it would be neat. When you can do a muscle snatch with the same weight, you've got mechanical issues. Yay me. Did Invisible Fran after: 1:44 round 1. 5:03? round 2. Oh well. Felt good, anyhow. Then did 2 sprints up 9 flights of stairs. 200 situps. Going to eat my one-egg broccoli omelet now. Yes!

    I did the work out in 6.43 not to bad,I got some bruises to show my hipps attacking the bar( theres a visual for everyone).
    I gotta give it up to greg and zach for finishing the workout with a full squats. If I dont see you before the holiday enjoy it and make an effort to slow yourself down and appreciate all the gifts in your life already.

  24. 6:19 with 81#. This went really well until #30, which took me 5 tries and 3 temper tantrums. Bastard. And to think that at #20 I was thinking I went too light. HA!

    (my diet of cold pizza, peanut butter sandwiches, and Spaghetti Works yesterday probably didn't help... neither did my unfortunate liver condition this weekend)
