This is just a reminder to all CrossFit Omaha athletes. The Trevor Win'E Memorial Day Challenge devoted to buying cooling vests for service men and women in both Afghanistan and Iraq is right around the corner. We already have one probable team in Crystal, Reba, Josh, and Addi. We want more of you to step up and form a team. This is going to a great cause plus it's a team workout. If you can't make it in because of prior plans or whatever, there are sponsorship forms available right here.

Registration closes at 11:59 PM on Friday, May 23rd so I need everyone who is interested to either email me or post to the comments section. If you want to participate but don't have a team, let us know and we will try and find a team for you.

Joe and I will be out of town this weekend (Friday and Saturday) so we only have a short time to get this thing going. If you are part of a team the entry fee per person is $50. If you have your team already set and ready to go you can register online here.

We are either looking at 9 or 10 AM for the actual workout. CrossFit Orange County is the headquarters for this fundraiser and they have a start time at 9 AM. We don't necessarily have to workout at that time but it would be kind of cool to be working out simultaneously with CrossFit gyms all over the country.

Come on guys, let's step up to the plate and make this a fun little event that has the opportunity to provide our service people with helpful gear out in the hot deserts.
