Strength, Growth, Rest

Great job to everyone that came in. I believe that we are headed in the right direction with where I want to go with this whole strength thing. What I mean is that you guys are getting better at all the lifts we go heavy on and are getting strong in the process. We still have a ways to go but the progress is definitely there. It really is awesome to see where everyone has come from to where they are now.

Growth
Was there a lot going on last night or what? That was probably the biggest night of classes we have ever had. We have experienced a large 5:30 class before but together as a whole we had all kinds of people working out. CrossFit Omaha is getting bigger and bigger and we have no one to thank but you guys. You guys are our walking billboards. Thank you for talking about us and sharing your love for this great thing we have going on to those you come in contact with everyday.

Rest
Today is a time for rest but there are plenty of you that took Sunday off and therefore I will expect to see you in here tomorrow. These rest days are for you to pick your own workouts as well as maybe addressing weaknesses. If you need work on pullups that is what you should do. If you want something that is short and sweet we can work together to come up with a workout for you.

  4. So much for a rest day. It is always fun to pick your own WOD. For me it was:

    4 Rounds:
    400 meter run
    50 air squats

    Finished in 12:45

    Great job Blas, Joe, Trent & Mitch!!

    Finished in 10:21

    I could barely walk after that workout but it was a good one.

    I also stuck around to find my max weighted pullup. I got 60 and failed twice at 70

  10. Worked on Thursters, Presses, did some Back Extensions, Walking Front Squat Rack Postion. Things that will help my Fran time on the Thruster part. Sounds like everyone had fun.
