Keeping a Log
A good way is, if you have a computer/spiral notebook at home, to have a running spreadsheet (or write it down) of what the WOD was with information on:
the date,
how you did time wise,
what was scaled,
rounds completed if applicable,
what held you back (ex. extra work on pushups),
what your strength's were (felt good on burpees),
how heavy a load you used (on a workout like today),
and how you felt overall
