Rest Day!!!

Take the day off and allow yourself to heal physically and mentally! These rest days help keep performance up as we don't get better during the actual workout but through the process of breaking down our bodies and allowing them to adapt and compensate during rest. Although a good stressor, working out is still a stressor (especially CrossFitting) and must be managed carefully in order to keep realizing improvements in strength, speed, power, balance, accuracy, agility, coordination, flexibility, stamina, and cardio-vascular/respiratory endurance. As well as body composition (how we look) and mental health (how we feel).
