CrossFit News: A great discussion has sprung on CrossFit.com today about people who are stealing CrossFit’s intellectual property. The discussion is about Damon Ponder’s “Forgefit” who has been operating as a “Certified CrossFit Trainer” for months. His entire operation is fraudulent because he has no certification and no affiliation. Since the post on CrossFit.com he has changed his entire site and removed everything that was “CrossFit” related. We mention this here at CrossFit Omaha because it is worth your knowledge. CrossFit is a growing fitness revolution and this problem is here now and will grow quickly in the months and years to come. CrossFit prides itself on the quality of its program and will not tolerate unqualified persons to degrade that quality. The world-wide strength of the CrossFit community has deterred Damon within hours and we hope that the strength of the Omaha CrossFitting community will prove to be the same. Take pride in being a CrossFitter, at a true Crossfit gym, and that you are forging the future of fitness as we know it.
