  4. I just got home from the bar (about 12:50) I am having some Nilla Wafers and a Dr. Pepper. Tomorrow morning is going to suck ass. I feel like if death is an option after the workout I will take it.

P.S. I took more shots than anything tonight, thought the calories would be less!!!

  6. Well I read a bit and have never been a huge fan of low carb diet - its too extreme and you cut out good healthy carbs and supposedly banannas are bad for you - that just doesn't make sense. Quite honestly, I like the idea of paleo - it makes sense, perfect sense and then if you couple it with the zone - it seems like you would get a good balance of what you need. . .I am not sure how I feel about such little dairy in my life though bc I love skim milk and with the zone, its such a small amount to equal a block that I don't drink much anymore.....and don't women really need that? But I am guessing it must come from a different source?

I would like a little info on fish oils if someone has it and what kind of salad dressing and how much to really put on salads? and I would also like to find more information on the big debate on eggs? how many whole eggs should you really eat in a week if they are so high in fat and cholestrol and should it be cut to egg whites only?

ok done posting on that topic....

So I am going to do my own mishmosh since I am out of town - following what the WOD is, but subbing the box jump for KB swings since I brought my KB to Norfolk with me, along with my yoga mat :) I will let you know how it works out.....everyone have a good weekend....

  8. 16:03 replaced box jumps for KB swings since its all I had, so that was probably alot quicker then jumping up on boxes ;)

  10. This was awesome, in the usual excruciating way. Could've been a lot worse, though. I can't remember my time, but it was a little under 14. Nice job, everyone! We all made it in under 20!

  12. 17:13 i am excited that i could actually do 30" box jumps in the work out. and i did a 36, but there was no way that was happening 50 times...next time i am doing burpees the real way, not on my knees. (haha) great job this morning guys! alison and zachr you killed it! see you guys monday and girls tomorrow for satc! can't wait.

  14. 11:19? Really liked this one. Gee, I wonder why? Oh yeah. No weight! Was proud of box jumps, and after watching Ricky during the Memorial Challenge, I tried to copy his form on the burpees. Notice I said, "tried." Either way, it worked much better. Had some spring in my step today.
Awesome job to everyone today! It's fun to have such a large group of crazy people working out together!

I did not break up the squats or the box jumps. I broke up the burpees into 6 sets of 10. I did take about 20 seconds between the burpees and the 15 box jumps. The 36" box was looking even higher and I did not want to miss. What a great Saturday morning workout...then a beautiful bike ride home! See everyone on Monday or Tuesday.

  18. I really enjoyed getting to see nearly the whole crew working out today. It is so much more fun when we have a big group. It makes me push myself harder. 12:36 was my time. I was pretty steady paced on everything but the burpees. My squats have gotten much faster.

  20. 15:4something??? Right around there. As expected, the burpees kicked my ass, but I was pleased to manage to keep Angry Addi at bay... not without a concerted effort, though. :) Looking forward to being able to show up more regularly again (every other week, but still...)- had to go back to knee pushups and I'm sick of them!

  22. Ok I got the day off work and just committed myself to Papillion Days with the rest of you. I don't know what I got myself into but I'm looking forward to the adventure!

  24. Everyone did really well today, I was especially proud and excited to see Mikayla jump up to that high of a box (you have come a long way in a short time), Hannah/Greg jumping 30" for the whole workout, Amanda Jokerst using 53 pounds for thruster in a workout.

Lately I have also seen some sick feats from Jimbo doing Grace in 5:02 and Angela doing it in 5:15 or so (only 8 pounds short of rx'd), D.J. doing Grace in sub 5 minutes as rx'd, Melissa pose running, the 6AM group show up every morning, Paul/Jimbo squat way over 300lbs., and Danielle 2 pood it for the first time.

    Great Work.

  26. All of the great work listed above is thanks to you and Joe Ricky! I know I would still be running 10 miles a day for my "workout" if it weren't for you two. Thanks for everything- I don't know if we say that enough!

On another note- I have been really sick since like 2 am. I have been hanging out around the toilet like we are best friends. Just wanted to give a heads up to Paul, Jimbo, Addi and Josh... I really hope you aren't sick too. Sounds like everyone did great today. Sorry I had to miss it!

  30. I don't remember my time. I know that it was under 20 minutes and over 15 I'm sure of it. I don't know why those box jumps freaked me out so much. I just had to do the first one and then it was easier. Thanks to Mel and Damian for encouraging me. Yeah Burpee's suck but what can you do. I liked this workout when it was over :)
