  2. Frickin' DNF. Went RX'd, got to 43 burpees when time was called. Didn't get my kip on K2Es until the last 15. Wall balls did me in as well. Lesson learned.
    Nice work 5AMers!

  4. Ouch. 25:05 rx'ed. Had some DU malfunctions, but I was all set for a thrilling finish on the buzzer. Oh well.

Turns out this is a PR. I came in today convinced that I'd done this sub-20 before. Don't know where i got that ridiculous idea. Last time I did this (at least 2 years ago), it was 24:08 with 14# WBs and good mornings instead of back extensions.

Those burpees were miserable! Burpees have been feeling good lately, but not at the end of this bad boy. Ouch.

  6. 25:47 Rx'd (1 pd for swings). Improvement over last time (DNF'd back in June 2011 at 12 burpees in)

I think K2E is harder than T2B (abs definitely feel it more). I really thought I would finish before 25:00 because I thought I had plenty of time after wall balls, but burpees took me right at 5 minutes to get through. Started DU's before cutoff of 25:00 so was allowed to finish.

    Great job 6 a.m.!!!

  8. 18:45 Scaled to 35 reps and Knees to shoulder height (anyone else think KTE is harder than TTB (Oh, I see Shelley agrees)? I thought this was the first time I tried this but according to Logwod is tried it in Oct 2009 and came up short with a 30 minute cutoff. Logwod is good stuff, Peeps.

  10. i hadn't thought about it until you guys brought it up, but yes, KTE were definitely harder than TTB. they even felt harder than strict TTB, though maybe that's because I rarely do 50 strict TTB in a row.

  12. I did this in Oct '09 as well and DNF'd with a 30:00 minute cutoff. Got through 6 DU's that time.

Agree with Brian that logwod is a great tool!

  14. 28:10 so a big fat DNF for todays cutoff. I did this one at home so I had to use 45# for PP and RDLs and 20# the wall balls and the 1pood for swings.

I love this workout. The last time I did it my time was 26:41.

Today's quote- don't wish it was easier, wish you were better.

  16. Scaled to the dirty 30 reps. 22:55.

According to the logwod the last time I did this was in 2009, with 50 reps and a 30 minute cutoff I DNF'd then. 30 reps was perfect for me today. Burpees were the slowest ever, and my feet kept catching my DUs in the end. Everything else felt pretty good. Wish I got to do this one more often. It's a good mix and a great workout!

Glad to be able to drop into CFO and reunite with the nooners. I wish President's Day was every week so I could always have 4 day weekend ;) Good to see ya'll!
