"Filthy Fifty"
For time:
50 Box Jumps, 24 inch box
50 Jumping Pull ups
50 Kettlebell Swings, 1 pood/trainer
Walking Lunges, 50 steps
50 Knees to Elbows
50 Push Press, 44#/33#
50 RDL's, 44#/33#
50 Wall Balls, 20#/14#
50 Burpees
50 Double Unders
Big things here are, knees to elbows means KNEES TOUCH ELBOWS and keep back flat on RDL's (bar to shin). Scale reps to 35 or even 20 if needed. Cut-off is 25 minutes.
Post time to comments/Logwod.
Compare to 110624 (w/ T2B).
Oh no... (Thanks to Abby for this one.)
Nice work 5AMers!
Turns out this is a PR. I came in today convinced that I'd done this sub-20 before. Don't know where i got that ridiculous idea. Last time I did this (at least 2 years ago), it was 24:08 with 14# WBs and good mornings instead of back extensions.
Those burpees were miserable! Burpees have been feeling good lately, but not at the end of this bad boy. Ouch.
I think K2E is harder than T2B (abs definitely feel it more). I really thought I would finish before 25:00 because I thought I had plenty of time after wall balls, but burpees took me right at 5 minutes to get through. Started DU's before cutoff of 25:00 so was allowed to finish.
Great job 6 a.m.!!!
Agree with Brian that logwod is a great tool!
I love this workout. The last time I did it my time was 26:41.
Today's quote- don't wish it was easier, wish you were better.
According to the logwod the last time I did this was in 2009, with 50 reps and a 30 minute cutoff I DNF'd then. 30 reps was perfect for me today. Burpees were the slowest ever, and my feet kept catching my DUs in the end. Everything else felt pretty good. Wish I got to do this one more often. It's a good mix and a great workout!
Glad to be able to drop into CFO and reunite with the nooners. I wish President's Day was every week so I could always have 4 day weekend ;) Good to see ya'll!
