WGN in Chicago doing a little coverage of the Regionals. At about the -1:40 spot, you'll see team CFO doing some warmups in the background... http://www.wgntv.com/blogs/leshock-value/wgntv-crossfit-worlds-fittest-man-competition-hits-chicago-20110527,0,6127289.story

Great Day 1 video on the Games site, Shelley and both Tovars getting a little camera love - games.crossfit.com, click the icon for North Central Regional, you'll find the video, pictures and the complete scoreboard.
For those that haven't heard yet, the results after day 1 are: Stacie 2nd, Libby 7th, Justin 16th and Team CFO 4th. Amazing work everyone, keep it up!
As for this picture Ricky, you had to dig pretty deep in the archives to find this one, this is from way back in the day, holy hell!

Warning: Lengthy post
Crossfit Regionals was the best weekend ever!! Thank you so much to everyone back home who showed support by texting, emailing or blogging words of encouragement while following results either on the website, facebook, etc.
I also want to thank everyone who supported the team and individuals with financial support either by participating in the team fundraiser competition a couple weeks back or those who gave cash donations. It is much appreciated.
The CFO community is truly special. It doesn't matter if someone is just starting out or is the #1 woman in the North Central Region (Way to go Stacie!!!). The support here is incredible. It was also great to see so many of you in the stands this weekend as well yelling and cheering us all on!!
I can't even put into words what it means to me to be a part of the CFO team that took 2nd this weekend. Transitions were smooth, and every one stepped up and did their part. I was nervous before every WOD, but once it started, I got in my zone and just did it. Everyone else did the same thing. I learned a lot about myself through this experience as well. (That's a whole chapter in itself) We couldn't have been better prepared and that is because of the coaching and all the hard work put in the gym beforehand. As you know from following results, it was a tight race to the end. Getting a 2nd place and 1st place finish on those last 2 WODS was incredible!!! I wish you all could have been there!
Individual performances were amazing as well. Watching Stacie, Libby and Kat go through these workouts was inspiring!
