As much as I loved and miss the strength class it was good to back with Amanda and the 5am'ers! It was great to see some new faces. Did the Push press @ 98# and then did the first part of the power clean WOD! I used #87. They felt really good...should have definitely gone up!

FYI- If there are any skeptics on the Paleo diet and need scientific facts that Paleo works you should read the article on Crossfit journal "By the Number". Flatiron crossfit did their own study on Paleo diet and performance. They did before and after blood panel to check cholesterol, body fat, measurements, and did a crossfit wod as well as strength.

I would have to agree with Paula about the strength class (it was a love-hate relationship with me). I didn't think I was making any gains during the class but I do now. The last time I did power cleans, I could only get #82. I lifted with Ricky last week and was able to get #104. I was very impressed with myself. So with that being said, y'all should try it.

This a pretty huge PR, Jess!
I did the main site wod at 7...Ryan:
5 rds 7 muscle-ups 21 burpees
15 min cutoff.
I got 2 muscle-ups in round 4 and then 1 failed attempt. Time ran out right about when my ability to do muscle-ups did.
Felt good! I did a little better than the last time I tried this WOD, and way better than the last time I tried muscle-ups (and gassed out at 13).

went @ 4:30 and made up Helen from Monday - I love helen! last time I did this was in freezing cold rain so it was nice to be able to enjoy the warmer weather with this one.
all rx'd - 14:15 - 40 second PR.
Just need to push harder on the running... need to start running more outside of CF on my own again to make that happen!! Great job 4:30 Heleners!
