As you know, Fight Gone Bad 5 is going down this Saturday from 9AM till 10:32AM (the working out part anyways) and we are excited at how much interest you guys put forth with such short notice. It is awesome to see your participation in the gym's fundraisers and events. It makes for a really enjoyable community experience.

As you know, those that signed up to participate, will have their accounts charged $30 and this, all 100% of it, will go to the mentioned groups, LiveStrong, The Wounded Warriors Project, and the CrossFit Foundation.

You are exempt from the $30 donation if you have started a fundraising page of your own on the FGB5 website under the CrossFit Omaha umbrella and have raised at least $30 there. I will keep checking the site up until Friday night for any new pages or $30 that have been raised.

The heats have been written up on the whiteboard at the gym so make sure you check that out. We encourage you to bring family and friends to watch and help cheer on everybody that is working out. Thanks again for all your help.

  2. i got my ass handed to me today on two things that i usually consider to be my strengths.

    even with a tan band, i couldn't get a single set of 10 pullups. my right bicep was KILLING me.

    got a total of 480 reps on jump rope: 165 DUs and 150 SUs.

  6. Made a fun little wod today.
    3 rds
    5 Muscle ups
    5 thrusters @ 110 (lowered the weight for my hammy)
    10 burpees
    10 burpee pull ups
    15 ball slams 20 lbs
    15 kettlebell swings 1.5
    kicked my butt. Did all three rounds in 16:40.
