Rest Day

The gym in August of 2008, in all its naked glory.

This August, Joe and I will be celebrating our two year anniversary in our current building. It has been a wild ride but we are still chugging along thanks in full to all of you that continue to help keep the dream alive.

Because of this, we are going to celebrate our two year anniversary on the night of August 1st at Shoreline golf course. We are starting out the day with a 4 person scramble that will include 13 teams, 10 of which will be open for registration to all of you.

At the conclusion of the golf outing, we will then head into the clubhouse where we hope that in addition to those that golfed, there will be more of you from the gym to help us celebrate our anniversary. Start planning now.

It will be a family affair and all are invited. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks.

Also, if you think you might be able to make it, let us know by posting to comments. Your availability may change and we understand that, we just want to get an idea of who's interested in golfing and/or partying with us.

  14. Did the hy vee triathlon today...on a team! Because of weather They cut the distances in half...400m swim, 20k bike, 5k run....I took on the swim and finished in 8:47...had the 3rd fastest time and my team placed 9th outta 62. The event definitely reaffirmed my faith in Xfit when I went to the grocery store the night before and saw a skinny, skinny, shaved legged triathlete doing hamstring stretches on his grocery cart and in his biking uniform...and his cart was full of Lara bars and rice cakes! Lindsey and I had a hard time holding back our giggles!
