  4. Did 16 pullups which is 2 below last time. I started with CTB not even realizing it and faded too quickly.

I did 49 and 47 swings Rx'd and did each of the runs in 45-49 seconds. The second set of swings felt better as far as rhythm, but I rested a bit more than I wanted to.

    Great job 6 a.m.!!

  8. Great Job 6am.

Got 28 pullups 2 more than last time, did not make my 30 I wanted. Dismount from the bar was less than graceful too.

1.5 pd 50/50, did the runs in 58-68 seconds each.

  10. Can't make it in today but hopefully I'll be in on Saturday to make this up ... since I just love running and all ;). Good luck to everyone today!

  12. Some days you can nail pullups. Some days they suck. Today they sucked. 16 good ones, one better than last time. I pulled too high the first few and gassed. Bummer. Will be in the 20's next time.
Got 50 and 40 on the swings with a 2pd. Runs killed me. Got the first 4 on the 200M run, but couldn't get to the start of the 5th. Had to move to the 100M area where I finished the rest there. Not sure on average time.

  14. 30 pullups. 2 less than last time. WFT? 94 swings (44+50)

I need to cowboy up like Greg P.

I heard something 'THUD' so I looked up and I didn't actually see him hit the floor (the first time), but I saw him bounce.... and lay there. My first instinct was to get the defibrillator... or call 911...or something. After everyone stood and stared in disbelief, he let out a groan, rolled over, and stood up. Next thing you know, he's swinging KB's and running 200's!

    U DA MAN GREG P!!!
(the only thing Chuck Norris is scared of, is Greg P)

  18. I am getting closer to a pull-up, if nose to bar counted, I would have 1, but still sitting at 0.

Used 1 pood KB for the swings and got 55 & 60, ran 100's so I could sprint (well, if you can call that sprinting). Average time was around 40 seconds.

Thanks to Kylie for driving our kettlebells to the parking lot instead of making us carry them back and forth.

  20. Gina, that is CLOSE! You'll get one soon! And way to kill them swings, girl. Damn.

Big PR on pullups today - 30! I think I might have been able to get a couple more, but I was so excited about 30, I just dropped.

I liked parts of todays metcon (specifically, the parts that did not involve "sprints"). 54 and 49 swings. I know the first sprint was 42ish, and after that much slower. Nearly killed myself on the last one trying to beat Lindsey and Jen T.

Which reminds me, thanks to Lindsey for making us carry in the kettlebells. You'll be hearing from my chiropractor. :) Also for joining me in this afternoon's round of Ricky-heckling.

  22. 22 pullups, 2 more than last time. I was hoping to get at least close to 30 but just wasn't feeling it today.

40 and 41 swings respectively with the 2 pood.

As for Greg P...HOLY SH!T!!! It happened in slow motion. I saw him swing up, and then I saw him come crashing down. Chuck Norris definitely would not have gotten up from that. Bruce Lee yes, but not Chuckles. Much respect Greg.
  23. ZachR Says:
  24. 35 pullups, 5 more than last time and 2 more than my previous PR.

54 and 51 2 pd swings and all runs in about 43-48 seconds

  26. Today and yesterday have been the best wods!

Got 19 pullups today - pr by 6 :) and felt strong!

used 1 pood for kb swings. got 48 on first round. and 46 on second. Runs started strong and fast... but got winded and was slowing down at the end. 94 total reps.
congrats to all the pr's and first timers getting their kipping pu's!! yayayayayaya!
great workin it out 4:30! was nice to be outside in this lovely wintery-spring like weather :)
