  4. New PR on push press of 140#. My old PR was 130 so I was happy with this.

    I liked the way we took turns on the racks working up to our 1 RM. Gives us a chance to watch/cheer on everyone and not just those in our immediate group.

    Did metcon in 10:30 and got all DU's with no misses which is a record number in a row for me. Situps got tough in this one.

    Great job 6 a.m. once again!

  6. 184 on push press--not a PR. missed 198 3 times. Should've tried 189 first, but I really thought I could get 198. oh well.

    9:05 on the metcon. DUs were messy today, but I did the 50 slams unbroken, so I was pretty happy about that.

    Great job, 6am! i saw a lot of beautiful push presses getting locked out.

    I agree with the Shelley, the "round the world" set-up was great.

  10. Reba, the 140 you are reading is in kilos. This means the girl is actually pulling 308 pounds.

    Kilograms are used in weightlifting, both weight on the bar and weight classes. Watch the video again and see how much these girls are moving.

    It's amazing.

  14. How come I can't pull 300lbs!!!?!? ;) Holy crap - that is like ridiculous! Not to mention I was freakin ridiculously happy to C&J over my body weight so I cannot imagine over 2X your bodyweight.....geesh......

    Must be those Frosted Mini-wheats they ate growing up ;)

  16. 198# on push press. Good PR for me. Had 203 but bent my right knee. Joe almost made me stop at 143# because my technique was so crappy. But, technique got better as weight kept going up.

    10:13 metcon. That many situps made me want to throw up....

  22. Good to be back after a short sabatical!

    198 (barely) on the Push Press....not a PR. Started to high and it just wasn't there today. I missed the last rotation of Push Press so that may have been a factor. Also, needed to warm up with higher weight as I tried to jump 50lbs for first attmpt.

    11:10 on the Metcon.....finally figured out how to avoid "Road Rash" on the situps! ;-)

  24. I went into today thinking my previous 1RM was 121. I was wrong. I PR'd today at 114 a 5# PR. Still pretty happy about it. I bend my knees at light weight too, Eric.
    The metcon was tough. That is a lot of situps! I finished at 11:47.

  26. Push Press- 129#-PR'd by 5. I loved the idea of going around the room one at time especially when you are going for PR's.

    Metcon-DNF-had 12 situps left! If I didn't have to stop and tie my freakin' shoes twice during the double unders I might have finished. There wasn't any 16# balls left so had to use 12#. I guess I could have used the 20# ball. Ha!

    Great job 4:30!! Again, another HUGE class!! Awesome to see!

  28. push pree 97# - same pr from before, attempted 102x1 and didn't get it over head, wanted to try for it again but time didn't allow :(

    metcon - scl'd 50 burpees for DUs. Got to 29 ball slams when time was called.
    (Burpees and ball slams felt like the black lung today! Holy s***!)

    great work 4:30 peeps... just found out I am going to day shifts at the hospital after x-mas so I will be seeing ya'll at 5 am soon!!!!

  34. 129# on the push press. Not a PR, but I am happy considering my lack of training. Got thru all the ball slams when time was called...so DNF on the WOD.

  36. 208# on the push press. PR by 19# but I think I could have done at least 220# if I had another attempt. Next time...

    10:23 for the metcon. I think I use my legs too much with situps cause they were cramping up the last two sets of 50. Weak core maybe?

  38. I'm so pissed I missed this workout. I ended up having to go home cause I was super sick...didn't think I should share. I'll be gone the rest of the week, but I'll miss you all. Do good :)
