WOD
Rest Day.

JFey and Kelli showing great f***ing range of motion on pushups. Gotta love it. I've seen the other gyms in town and their gals can't do pushups like that.

If you haven't already seen, take a peek over at the CrossFit games site for event structure for both the affiliate cup competition and the individual competition. Five events on Saturday for the individual competition? Whoa!

Check out this Wednesday's edition of CrossFit Radio, as they have asked me to come on the show again. I'll try not to ramble so much this time around.

  2. I did Helen today - 3 rounds of 400m run, 21 KB swings (1.5 pood), 12 pullups. 11:53 rx'd. Somehow I've managed to never do this benchmark before so I really didn't know what to expect. My goal was to knock Greg O'K off the board (nothing personal Greg) but came up short of his time of 11:32. Next time.

  4. 3 events for team and 5 events for individuals in 1 day!?!....wowzers!!!...

Ok i wanted to test my ankle a bit before we hit the road so i tried Sunday's wod:

    4 rnds + 500m row rxd

This 1 was horrible but i needed 2 test out some heavy weight & c if i had maintained full mobility in my ankle...all in all the wod felt good! my ankle held up awesome!...Eric the chiropractor is givin me a quick once over this afternoon, thank you Eric! then i'm gona finish the week out tomorow with some light ROM/bodyweight stuff...

This weekend is going to be soo much fun, i can barely contain my excitement!!!...i'm almost happy for the multiple events, this is the WORLD GAMES right? we gota seperate the true badasses from the weak-asses....Like the cream of the crop Crossfit Omaha will rise to the top!!!!

  6. The awkward premonition-dreams have begun... Get ready for scavenger hunts for barbells and swinging (as in on a swingset).

Played some golf this weekend (2nd game ever. Needless to say, it was an impressive showing.), and I think it loosened up my back and shoulders a bit. I've been feeling pretty good most of the time. Good news. After Dr. Jess fixes me up tomorrow morning, I should be good to go. :) Also got in some croquet and some sprints to and from the (surprisingly mostly Paleo-esque) food. Feeling refreshed and ready to go.

Two more nights in Omaha before the big show. Get excited!

  8. For some reason I did not have any interest in doing more squat cleans today, so I did Helen with B Christ. 13:12
  9. Tovar Says:
  10. My Dr finally cleared me and I'm officially rhabdo free after having to take two weeks off from any form of physical exurtion. I'm supposed to ease back in so I did 3rounds of 400 meter run, 5 pullups, 10 pushups, 15 air squats, & 20 situps at a very slow pace. It felt great to get back in the gym and sweat again.

I too can't wait to go out to Cali & I'm not even competing. I am very excited and nervous for all of our peeps competing in the games. It's gonna be fun to watch!

  12. Tovar, our job will be to keep our CFO folks out of the beer... at least until they're done competing. :-)
    See everyone at 5:30

  14. GregMo and Tovar, glad you guys are on the mend! i figure it would take quite a beating to keep either of you monsters down.

    i just did

    10 DLs (225)
    1 burpee
    9 DLs
    2 burpees
    ...

    9:30

the part you won't believe is that i started looking forward to the burpees! my lower back felt weird today and so the DLs were kind of a struggle.

Not a fun one to do alone.

  16. Boy, you crazy CFO competitors are keeping Eric and myself busy! :-) Anything we can do to help you all out before the games just ask. Always here to help. Eric, Matt, and I did a team WOD today. This was my first team WOD since I usually don't make it on the weekends. My soreness is def starting to set in now. UGH!!! Great job 6am peeps.
  17. Danielle Says:
  18. Did Sunday's 500m row, 10 hang cleans 100#, and 10 wall balls AMRAP in 20, got 3 full rounds and a 100m row. Thanks Tara for doing that with me.

I am excited for Cali!! Best luck to everyone. I know you all will represent CFO!
  19. Chad Says:
  20. Made it through 5 1/2 rounds of Cindy in the triathalon. The row really drained me.
  21. Kelli Says:
  22. I did the triathalon backwards:
    800 m run
    10 rounds of Cindy
    2K row
    30minute time limit: DNF
Made it to 800m completed on the row. By the time I got to the row I could barely move. That wod was awesome.
  23. Paula Says:
  24. Good to be back after vacation!!! Did the triathalon-DNF.. I made it through 7 2/3 rds of Cindy after the 2Krow ... chose to TRY to finish Cindy instead of running the 800m. Wow, what a workout! Tough-especially after the row!! Loved every minute of it!
  25. Cari Says:
  26. Made up the 5 RM deadlift ... 234x5 (PR!!). I'm so excited for everyone going to CA and REALLY wish I was going to cheer. Good luck and I can't wait to hear all about it!
  27. Mel C Says:
  28. Dang Cari! Lifting some heavy sh*t! And it's become a reoccuring theme that Rest Days are harder than other days! Linds and I agreed upon that today! Team Badger with Joe and Becky...and I was definitely dry heaving after I had to run a 200m then go straight into a 400m run. I like team workouts but shoot...why am I just dying lately?!
  29. Allison H :) Says:
  30. I did the triathlon today. DNF @ 30 minute cut-off, choose to attempt finishing Cindy instead of starting the run knowing I would have NEVER returned from Enterprise! LOL! Got 7 full rounds in... and it was an awesome total body work out! LOOOOVE it!!! good team-work 4:30!!! It really helped me keep pushing knowing that Paula and I had each other's backs for CPR!!! hahaha!
  31. kahrs Says:
  32. Did team Badger with Ben today, it was tougher than I expected, but still fun. I enjoyed the cleans they were light enough to push through them, but the run wasn't fun.
  33. Jordan Says:
  34. Did Mini-marathon. Had not been to Xfit for a month (gone most of June out of town) Came back to this one. Finished 2k row and Cindy but that was it. My arms were on fire. Good to be back.

Thanks For Visiting!
