Rest Day

As a reminder, gym hours have changed from here on out. The change applies only to Friday evenings. The new hours are now 4:00, 5:00, and 6:00 PM.

Hope these new hours help you guys to get in to the gym more often on Friday evenings when it seems that skipping a workout to start the weekend is much easier.

  2. 3 rds of 20 reps of each fight gone bad exercise. 18:40. Could've gone faster, but ended up resting more than i intended (partly because we had more people than bars). Felt great!

  4. Did a 3 round, 3 person relay team WOD today:

    Sprint down and back
    Ball Slams
    Box Jumps
    Farmer Walk down and back
    Sprint down and back

    Slams and jumps were 21-15-9 and the farmer walk was 2 2-pood KB for guys and 2 50# DB for ladies.

    Jeff S, Greg Mo and I finished in 16:49 (or was it :39??). This was a fun one, you have just enough rest between rounds that you can really push it. Nice job everyone, way to finish strong.

  6. I'm dumb. I mentioned who my teammates were but I forgot to tell them THANK YOU for setting the pace and pushing me through, definitely didn't want to let you guys down, thanks boys.

  10. I'm glad you posted the new hours or I would have been in at 4:30 and been like ok...
    And...why are guys always so serious when they take pictures? :o)
    And is this another HORRIBLE rest day work out...hahaha Lindsey! Lindsey, Meridith, and me have decided that rest day WODs are BY FAR harder than regular WODS!

  12. Did team WOD with Jake and Tyler S. 18:something? Nice job guys. That was harder than it looked.

    And as for Jocelyn Forest, when we went to their gym on Monday, she was above and beyond helpful and nice. She is pretty intimidating, but immediately makes you feel comfortable around her. It's so cool to see someone who is such an amazing athlete be so humble and kind.

  14. I did the team WOD this am with Veronica and Amanda. Our time was 20:22. This was a fun workout but the farmer walk SUCKED. That was my first time ever doing those. Great job 6am peeps.

  16. Did the relay workout with JenF and JenB and we finished in 18:47. I enjoy these workouts where the rest is just enough to keep the intensity high for all 3 rounds. My teammates did awesome and never stopped working til the end.

  18. What a fun Rest Day! I worked with Michael and Hannah to finish in 18:05. Great job to all of us! These team workouts really motivate me. And yes Mel...rest days are harder than WOD. Today didn't let us down either!

  20. Today I worked with Zach R and Jen F. It was awesome. Holy forearms! Thanks to my team mates for pushing so hard! You guys are awesome! I like that only at Crossfit can competition be so encouraging at the same time. It's great when people cheer other people on from different teams. Yet another reason why CFO rocks!

  22. @ noon w/ Cole and Eric ~ rocked the team wo in 20 minutes flat! This was a fun day! Jake and I were sprinting it out together at the end... watching everybody was awesome! The rest time was great to recover! Way to go all! :)

    This one was just what I needed today - love those farmer walks!

  26. great job 4:30! you guys rock. it was dj who originally coined the phrase "I feel like I just got done jacking off an elephant." ha! those farmer walks were harder than expected. Amazing job to Michael and Meridith; thanks for helping me beat ZachR! :)
