For time:
1000 meter row 
25 Burpees
750 meter row
50 Burpees
500 meter row
75 Burpees

Scale the reps if needed but nevertheless go as hard as possible. 

If you don't show up to do this workout or at least make it up sometime this week, I will put your name on tomorrow's post along with everyone else that doesn't show up. This way, everyone will get a chance to know who are the poodles among our group. If you can live with that, I can live with that.

30 minute cut-off.

Karen Wattier during a recent workout. Yes, she is the mother of Neil Wattier/mother-in-law of Reba Wattier. She's been with us only a week and a half but during that time, she has been here almost every day. Make sure you introduce yourself and make her feel at home.

Hannah, as well as myself, sent out an email to everyone concerning the Halloween party this weekend. She has only received a handful of RSVP's and because of this put together a letter giving details about the shindig. If you are able, please send an email to either Hannah (hlefler310@hotmail.com) or myself (crossfitomaha@gmail.com) stating whether you will be here or not. We are trying to get a head count so that we can have an idea of how many people are going to be here.

  8. so if i accidently have something more important to do...(such as filing my toenails or perhaps watching the grass turn brown or anything better than 150 burpees)... than this workout will just come back to haunt me the next time i'm at the gym? that doesn't quite seem fair. i suppose i'll be there.

  34. 29: something, Rx'd. I think the rowers at 24 hour are a little different (IDK easier) than Crossfit. I didnt struggle as much on them as I do there, or maybe my technique is getting better....yeah that's the ticket!!

  40. you guys at 6am are so amazing. i was very excited to get to work out with my sister twice in 26 hours. it was great. there was some amazing effort being shown this morning!
    finished rx'd in just under 28 i believe. it sucked but i am SO happy i did it.
    as for the party, hope everyone got the emails. if you would like to know what to bring, please email me @ hannah.lefler@gmail.com and i'll let you know whats needed. thanks guys! cant wait!

    subbed medball clean & jerks for burpees. 23:39. I know that's not the same as burpees, but believe me, it sucked anyway.

  48. 23:03 with 90 scaled burpees. The nooners rocked it hard today. Great job everyone. I'm going to start coming a lot more so maybe I won't have to scale EVERYTHING sooner rather than later. Everyone is a great role model.

  50. So i am not sure if I will be put on the POODLE list or not, but I am unable to make it in for this one but I did modify the WOD a little. I was not able to use a rower so I did DU's instead. This one was probably one of the harder ones I put myself through because I was exhausted even after my warm up. Always a good start, so here it was.

    120 DU's
    25 Burpees
    60 DU's
    50 Burpees
    30 DU's
    75 Burpees

    23:00

    Not sure if that was even close as hard as the rowing one would be but it killed me. My DU's were very below average and that is one of the reasons why I stuggled. Well good luck and congrats to everyone who has done it today and see yall soon.

  56. Mentally I have been a poodle lately. Where did my bulldog mentality go this last month? Oh right.........work.

    Its amazing how many times i have caught myself zoning out during workouts lately thinking about what I have left on my desk and what I have forgotten to get done at home.....I hope to get back on track once things slow down again mid-november through the holidays...

  58. shoot, guys i've got to be a poodle for this one. i was planning on the 5:30, but work ran overtime and i just got home and i have two huge assignments due tomorrow and i just can't make it in:( ok, i'm just making excuses. but can i make this up tomorrow?? or friday, or saturday? i should be able to make it for the rest of the week.

  68. Scaled to 90 burpees w/ bumpers; 23:09. I thought this was a great workout and I wish I would have done the one higher number of burpees since it was 15 more and I had the time but that's good to know for next time! Great job to everbody in the evening classes.

  74. 22:12 Rx'd. I thought my lungs were going to explode and I almost gagged at one point but I made it through. I pushed myself harder this time than I have in the past but I know I have more in me. That will have to come with time I guess.

    Awesome workout and great effort by everyone today!!
